There's no replacement for a coach who knows what skills you will need to learn when beginning workouts you are not familiar with. With someone there with you and can react to what you're doing in real time, to make the appropriate adjustments; that's how you'll gradually master the skills in the shortest time. That's how you maximize your progress, building on your positive momentum, and minimize your risk of injury. When we start training, we can't see the mistakes we're making, and we don't yet know how the movements should feel.
