MD® Vitamin C Serum

This product may work well, it's so hard to know because I didn't see any dramatic results. I do think it may have lightened some sunspots, and it didn't make me break out so I'm inclined to say it works well. At the very least it didn't do me any harm. I wouldn't call it a serum, it's an oil, one hundred percent. It doesn't absorb into the skin very well but stays oily for some time. It works great if you use it before putting on skin food moisturizer (if you use that you know how greasy and thick it is). The packaging is one of the worst I've ever seen, it came looking like some of it had already been coming out of the bottle, which in fact it had! It was greasy and as you can see from my image, all the white text that was on the bottle has started to come off! How this is possible I do not know. I still have used it on my face though because like I said, it seems like it actually might be lightening my sun spots. Maybe improve your packaging.

Very nice Vitamin C serum. I like that it’s in oil form, but it’s not too oily, it actually does absorb into my dermis, instead of sitting on top like most oil based serums. So far my skin feels and looks healthier and brighter. Very happy with this, and I’ll be back for more!

This is the best vitamin C serum I've ever used. It might seem like a silly reason and perception but every other one I've tried had this weird bacon smell. I don't know how to describe it better. I don't know what ingredient makes it smell like that (Vitamin C?) . Anyway, my experience was always tainted by that off-putting scent. It colored any legitimate benefits to using those serums. However, not the MD Factor Vitamin C Anti-Aging Serum. It smells heavenly! Just the slightest scent but it is light and makes me want to smear it all over my body lol. But I contain myself and just limit to my face, neck and decolletage. I only put at the most 3 drops for these 3 areas. Certainly not even half of a dropper. A little goes a long, long way as it is an oily serum. But after applying it, my skin doesn't feel greasy, slick or oily. Just those 3 drops are enough to deeply moisturize my skin. I don't follow it up with a cream or anything else. This is all my skin needs to by hydrated and feel velvety soft. Interestingly enough the ingredient list is quite short.: L-Ascorbic Acid, Cyclopentasiloxane, Polysilicone, Ethylhexyl Hyrdoxystearate, Mouthful of syllables, every single one. But together they appear to do my skin good.

Vitamin C serum gives my skin a glow and a younger looking skin. It also helps prevent sun damage by preventing dark spots.

I think this product is over priced for what it is. My package leaked. It doesn’t really have a pleasant smell. I probably wouldn’t buy this again.

This is way too oily for me to use during the day, and I have dry skin. I can't stand the feel of oils on my face. Good ingredient deck.

I had high expectations for this product after reading the reviews posted. I usually use Clinique products as I have sensitive skin, so I’m not totally surprised that I couldn’t use this serum. A little did go a long way and I could feel it on my skin when I touched my face.

What I received already had the top off the seal around the bottle pealed off - has been opened and is leaking out the rubber dropper gasket. About an inch of liquid missing in the bottle, and it's not that it leaked in the box = so I can only guess someone used it - didn't seal it quite enough - returned it. And it was then sent to me. If these were 'normal' times - I would have tried it anyway. But there not - so I won't be able to say much about the product. > Except to say it's an odorless - thin - sheer serum. Feels oily on the fingers - doesn't have any fragrance that I can tell. Can't speak as to if it soaks in well - leaves a residue - or is beneficial. >>> Directions - Clean face - dry - apply a few drops to face / neck / hands ( avoid eyes & open cuts ) twice a day. >>> This may be a 5 star product, but I can't vouch for that and reason for 1 star

This is the worst vitamin C serum I've ever tried. It's an OIL and goes on the same as if I smeared olive oil on my face. I waited and waited, and it did not sink in or absorb in any way. Just remained as a comical, glistening oil slick on my face. I was actually a little hesitant to try this, because the bottle was not sealed. In fact, when I opened the package, some of the serum had seeped out through the top and everything was oily. I really hope this wasn't something someone had used and returned. I threw it in the garbage, where it belongs.

I received what feels like a TESTER bottle. The wrapping on the top half of the bottle had been torn off as the bottom half was still attached. As a result, the top was all greasy and oily though most of the serum was still in the bottle. Not cool, reselling an obviously used bottle.

I love it. It smells fresh, it looks fresh and I feel it has improved the texture of my skin. My makeup seems to sit on my face better. (Doesn't look like I'm wearing any.) No rough patches, and fine lines reduced. My dark spot on the side of my face even seems less dark. Will be ordering more.

I love this serum! It hydrates my face and soaks into my skin nicely. I usually put this on in the morning and night, my face feels so soft. This product works very well!

I think its great I've been using it about week now regularly and I can tell my skin is more smooth with glowing

MD Factor vitamin C serum is one of my favorite skin products and I have been using this exact one over 5 years! I use it twice a week at bedtime. At first it tingled and then I found out I had been using too much, now I apply just a couple of drops and it doesn't tingle, yet it's still enough for my whole face, neck and décolletage. I have noticed my skin is so much softer and overall my complexion looks more youthful - this is one of my top 5 favorite skin products!!

This is the best Vitamin C serum you can find. I have been diligently using the serum on a daily basis even when I travel overseas. It moisturizes my skin, prevents my skin from sun damage, diminishes fine lines, deceases the dark pigmentation from sun spot, and gives my skin a shiny look. I will give 10 out of 5 stars. I have not found any vitamin C serum which can compare with MD factor for the price I invest.

I have been using this vitamin C serum daily for over five years. It corrects my uneven pigmentation, reduces fine lines and gives my skin a youthful brightness. The product is gentle on my skin and does not cause redness. I highly recommend this clinical strength vitamin C.

I've recently gotten into a new skincare routine that involves Vitamin C daily and nightime moisturizers, but wanted to add in a serum per the recommendation of my sister. Vitamin C seems to agree well with my skin, doesn't break me out, and leaves it looking & feeling radiant. I tend to go for higher quality brands of skincare products for the simple fact that I want ingredients that are safe, natural, and not full of a ton of chemicals. This Vitamin C serum did not disappoint, and left my skin feeling fantastic after applying. At 30 years old, I don't have many issues with wrinkles, however the pores on my chin are terrible. I also have some lingering pigmentation issues following my pregnancy earlier this year that I have been trying to deal with. Using this serum in conjunction with my moisturizers, I feel overall that my pores are shrinking, and my skin tone is definitely evening out more. I've received several compliments at work on how beautiful and radiant my skin has looked, and thats even been without wearing makeup! If you are looking for quality skin care products, MD brand is an excellent choice. The price is a bit high, but in reality, you get what you pay for and little bit goes a long way. I highly recommend trying this serum out if you are struggling with pore issues and pigmentation problems.

Oddly enough, mine arrived with the top dropper not sealed although the bottle itself was. I'm not freakin out about it though. Mine didn't leak, doesn't smell bad, isn't close to expiration, and I LOVE this serum. The price is average for quality Vit C serums these days. It's the first and only Vit C serum I've used that actually has that silky feel to it. It's oily, which I do not prefer, but because I like what this does for my skin so much I deal with it. I know we're not supposed to, but I can't help but rub my cheeks after I use this. Because they're so soft! I don't notice a scent. Maybe a mild one, but nothing to write home about in my opinion. My regimen is: cleanse, tone, booster serum, this Vitamin C serum, Vitamin C moisturizer & a eye cream. I do that every 2nd day, and on my other days I use a retinol serum. I'm really happy to add this to my morning routine. I would use it at night but I have different products for night time, that's just my preference. It sinks in sooo quickly (yes!). I think a lot of other people will come to love this as well if you give it a try.

This Vitamin C serum goes on smoothly and is quickly absorbed into the skin. It feels cooling and comfortable on the skin and the antioxidants in the Vitamin C serum help fight free radicals and aging. The serum also helps brighten the skin and even skin tone. It applies smoothly and causes no sensitivity, redness or irritation.

I have used a lot of skincare products over the years. But I can honestly say that this is the first product that I noticed made an obvious difference after just one application. I was amazed, actually. I've managed to find skincare products that address most areas of concern that I had with my face. But two big issues were especially tough to find a solution to: uneven skin tone due to rosacea, and dark spots from sun damage. I have a very fair complexion, and the older I get, the more noticeable these issues have become. I was excited to try this product because it claims to address both uneven skin tone and dark spots, specifically. But, I admit, I was also highly skeptical because I've tried so many things that didn't work. I applied just three drops of this product to clean skin, as directed. It went on smooth and soaked right in. I followed up with my usual face serum and night cream. In the morning, I was stunned. The two bright red blotches that have been on my cheeks for years? Completely gone. G.O.N.E. I thought, oh, must be a fluke, right? No. I've used this product twice a day for a week now. No more blotches! And over the past week, I've also watched two troublesome sun spots on my cheeks get lighter and lighter. Amazing. I think it's very important to give an honest assessment of how the products I use work for me. And this one is REALLY working for me. I'm stunned, actually. The difference in those two things -- problems I've had for many, many years that nothing has been able to fix -- is really impressive. So, given this item's high price tag, do I feel it's a good value for the money? After the changes I've seen on my face so far, my answer to that is a resounding yes. I see that I can add this to my Subscribe & Save subscription, which is great and will save me a little when I need to order more. And I DEFINITELY will keep getting this.

This arrived in an amber colored glass bottle with a glass eyelet dropper, inside a black cardboard box. The bottle had a heat shrink seal but whoever put it on shrank it below the dropper portion. Some of the serum leaked into the box. For this price point is expect to get ALL the serum. I've had this clogged pore at the top of my chest just below my neck that has been there over 4 weeks. I was convinced this was going to stay as a dark mark or scar tissue. After using this a couple times a day for almost two weeks, this is now healing, no longer raised, and the redness is fading. I'm 99% convinced it's due to using this product because it was raised and irritated and red for 4 weeks before using it. It doesn't really have a scent to it at all, is a pretty runny clear oil, and absorbs into the skin in just a couple minutes.

I have recently been made aware of the benefits of using vitamin C as a part of my skincare routine and have jumped on the bandwagon. For reference, I struggle with dry skin (living in the high desert certainly doesn't help!). I have tried a few different brands and really like this one from MD. It has simple effective ingredients with nothing unnecessary. - L-Ascorbic Acid:This stablilzed form of vitamin C evens skin tone, boosts collagen production, protects from the environment, and minimizes fine lines and wrinkles. - Phyllanthus Embilica Fruit Extract: Also known as Amla Fruit or Indian Gooseberry, this is also an extraordinary source of vitamin C. - This ingredient also offers antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. - Ergothioneine: This natural mushroom extract offers powerful antioxidant benefits. The packaging is an amber glass bottle with subtle minimalist labeling and a dropper dispenser. I will say that mine came to me having leaked in the box so I think the packaging needs work. The product itself has an oily texture that quickly absorbs into the skin with no greasy residue. My skin really likes this Vitamin C Serum from MD and doesn't cause any irritation. After using this my skin feels soft and nourished. I'm really happy with using vitamin C serum as part of my skincare routine in general and this one from MD, in particular, is a really nice product. I highly recommend it!

I have been a regular client of MD Laser & Cosmetics for over 10 years. I am a local client and have been able to make purchases from their physical office in the SF Bay Area. Lucky for me now that the vitamin C serum has made its way to Amazon which makes purchasing more convenient. The vitamin C serum is an excellent solution to maintaining glowing and well textured skin. I love it and highly recommend it.

I have tried quite a few serum and this is one of the better one and effective. I like the scent of this as well which makes it easy to use. Based upon description vitamin c is from L-ascorbic acid and based upon my research this acid is the most effective and potent from for Vitamin C. I found this serum comfortable for my skin and there was no irritation. After using it for a week i could feel the difference.

I love that it stripped down it’s contents to just 4 ingredients, I think that helps improve its efficiency in delivering the Vit C to my skin. It’s a water based formulation so is more watery than other serums, so you do have to apply it quickly. My only issue is with the flimsy plastic seal they used around the dropper and packaging this. It was ineffective and led to some leaking of the product. Not much was lost, but now the vitamin C has crept up to the rubber dropper and messing that part up. I’m not sure if I should just try to find another dropper to replace it, which seems a hassle. Hopefully they employ a better sealing method in the future because this is a great product, probably one of the nicest vitamin C serum‘s I’ve used.
